I got the chance to go to the official launch of the line yesterday, and meet Kate Moss herself. As expected, she was simply stunning in person, really friendly, and seemed excited to be telling everyone about her 10 chosen shades for the collection.
The shades are all inspired by music genres, with names that vary from 'Rock N' Roll' to 'Hip Hop' and 'New Romantic'. She told us all of her frustration while waiting for her nails to dry, so she wanted a really thick, opaque polish that dried quickly and had a high shine finish, eliminating the need for base and top coats.
The outcome is really wonderful. These polishes are richly pigmented, opaque in one coat and have a super glossy, gel-like finish. It seems that Rimmel can do no wrong with their new products at the moment, this collection coming hot on the heels of their wonderful Apocalips lip lacquers, Scandal Eyes eyeliners and new Lash Accelerator Endless mascara.

Kate admitted that her 10 year old daughter Lila, helped her choose the colours, and that her personal favourites are the bright pillar-box red 'Rock n' Roll' and the deep creamy grey 'Punk Rock', which she was sporting on her nails during the launch.
They will be priced at £4.49 each, available in Boots and Superdrug from 10th April 2013.
